The School of Built Environment Engineering at the HTU has decided to develop the architectural teaching methods by creating an interactive demo app that uses Augmented Reality (AR) to help students understand architecture, structure and design interactively.
-The project initial idea came from an event the HTU was holding for the CMS (school) students, that will help
them to decide which major are they choosing when they reach the university stage.
-The project idea was to create easy and understandable application that helps the school students to understand
architecture and structure interactively.
-This app has 3 demo models at the moment, but the plan is to immerge it with the architectural educational process on the next semesters.
-The next phase is to use this app widely in the marketing for the SBEE and their education quality.
-This app uses Unity 3D and Vuforia for development, Revit Architecture for models, and Adobe suit for all other designs.
